I read on X that by (almost) 2030, weighing all humans’ intellect and placing them against AI, AI wins?
Not quite.
Yes, AI is powering the world, disrupting industries and changing the modus operandi for both incumbents and legacy companies.
But, I also think that when you combine the power of both AI’s acceleration and human’s grounded intuition and creativity, the world becomes a smarter and better place to live.
Somewhere though, I still live reclusively – thinking humans have the reigns on the burgeoning AI environment. After all, be it narrow intelligence or super intelligence, it is a human that has birthed this autonomous engine. It is an evolutionary intelligence: of the tech DNA and human’s mind.
Now coming back to the topic – writing for humans where we feel the win and due satisfaction.
How can you make you writing matter to the world?
By infusing your emotions and making meaning through the power of your words.
You see, every word has a vibration and an undertone, which only a human mind can comprehend when reading and comprehending. Even when you are vulnerable or broken in some way, it completes the human experience of understanding through your writing.
As humans, let’s also sound like a human. Let’s evoke an emotion. Allow yourself to be broken, because somewhere we all are. As Emily Fletcher says: Universe – that is, one song, Let us all know that no matter how unique our voices may be, we are humming the same song: of being united and bonded with the power of emotion in our writing.
When we all express our human values and empathy, in our writing, AI will only enhance it with more but relevant data. Dan Pink mentioned in one the quotes on LinkedIn: that emotions are data, (use it wisely when creating content, adding to it :)).
So write for humans with your own expressive expression. For a moment, just forget that there was an AI to do the writing job or context stetting for you.
The best part? Since most writers are now using AI to augment their writing, being a human stands out.
Mediocre writing is an AI epidemic. Great writing – even though not perfect on grammar part – is human and supported with AI. And that, my friends, is the answer to winning a human’s heart!
With all its due: AI works for supporting our writing structure or giving shape to our writing, but a human infuses life and emotions into this piece so that it hums with its resonance with us.
