Are you feeling bored? Out of your wits? Evolving through your lingering patience?
I do – sometimes. Being a full-time writer and author is not an easy play.
You have to mark days to flow with your writing. And you have to carve time to keep reading because that’s the real dough.
Somewhere in this logical meandering of two things – reading and writing – can you think of doing absolutely nothing.
Let the boredom become the new spark – something that breakthroughs you to your new creative inflection point.
Every time we get bored is the time something new desires to manifest – be it a new article, practicing in normalising a new habit or simply trying a task not so much in synchrony with yourself.
Boredom signals that your mind is undergoing a cognitive upgrade and is leveling up as per what the world needs. Because what’s most personal is more general (someone said this? Carl R Rogers amended this).
So when you feel bored, allow your mind and body to naturally feel the process. Because at the other end of this creative inflection point is your most genuine and beautiful creation – lit up with resilience and ruminating patience that reflects in your work.
