Of late I dived into creative isolation so I could think and plan more about my writing.
So, what is creative isolation?
It is not a restrained view or claustrophobic of sorts. In fact isolation is not socially and intellectually limiting; it is true liberation. A place where your heart and mind are in synchrony; in complete consummation.
Your best work often needs solitude. It needs to reinvent itself in its own natural pace.
While there are people working for other creative people everywhere – but imagination is a one-person job or rather individualistic!
Execution is pluralistic.
And our individual version plays our plural people – that’s when magic happens.
Whether its painting, writing, something entrepreneurial and even the jobs you’re into – all need creative isolation.
My plea to you, don’t stigmatise isolation; prize it to be precious, as it protects your golden hours of pure productivity!
