I have seen more uncommon things. Things like living reclusively, illusion of inclusion, being noticed in a disparaging way or feeling alone in many things than one.
But what I commonly clamour to see is shared understanding, joyful moments with my loved ones, and even having deep conversations that replenish my soul.
So the underlying perception is that common is rare.
What we need is scarce and what we want is abundance.
What’s rare is the most common phenomenon in our lives. We all need love and care and support and companionate relationship alongside doing the work that connects u to our mission.
Now this is the common I talk about. Somewhere between living our uncommon, pedestrian lives, we desire to build a global home – a creative sanctuary: that one that is aligned with our deepest of values.
This is when rare, precious common melds with uncommon serendipity.
