Meditation

Somewhere in between building and maintaining my personal brand, I meditate every day twice a day.

Many surmise – and rationally so – that meditation needs you to clear your thoughts and focus on something.

This is far from true. Your mind wandering is the real meditation flex – the one that maps you to turn to something called your native spiritual home deeply embedded in your soul.

All your thoughts slowly get maximised in your mind’s latent tab and ask you to simply acknowledge them before they get transmuted to a more profound state.

As our meditation teacher says: bliss is any feeling fully felt. Which is why meditation helps you operate in the 4th stage of consciousness. Meditation upends your cognition function, helps you work more promisingly and intuitively in the world of AI, and even increases your IQ so do your job better.

The real efficiency process (learning) goal? Meditation

The real effectiveness outcome goal? A better life.

Emily posits we don’t get better at meditation, in fact this metaskill makes us get better at life – which is the true KPI of a great personal brand (as Justin Welsh explains!)

So why meditation framed as a meta skill?

Because it is the single most important portal we can open to embrace new technological developments, business and personal breakthroughs and mental models of clarity.

Meditation uplevels your productivity and fosters a sense of human agency that serves as a compounding set of actions to realise our work-life goals.
