Sometimes, in fact, as I ponder, there’s a lot of gravitas in surrendering to the divine.
Our personal journeys are unique yet when we see the bigger picture, we are practising existential fundamentalism – sometimes, too pedestrian yet meaningful as we pursue our spiritual growth.
So if you are struggling to meet your higher self – the one that beckons you every time you fall off the wagon, just give it up to nature.
Our meditation practice is such a beautiful embodiment of receiving and surrendering – not consciously forcing design but surrendering to the divine dispensation.
Whenever I am stuck in a sticky wicket, or not quite sure about what the future has in store for me, despite my best efforts, we are taught in our meditation that nature has more information than us.
Letting go is the first step towards finding ourselves.
Personal growth in its essence is elevating yourself on every level desirable by your soul’s purpose.
Now this definitely doesn’t mean that we don’t wisely plan our lives. It just means that we need to always be in sync with our personal ambitions and aspirations – some which we ‘make’ and ‘manage’ and some we leave to the nature for its imminent processing of next steps that are for our long-term success.
At the intersection of the ‘play of surrender’ and ‘plan of human desires’ is where our personal growth happens. Subtly, we create a healthy friction so that we keep pushing forward and reframing stress in which we truly thrive.
Next time you plan too well and you don’t succeed? Just look up at the sky, take a deep breath from your nose, and exhale from your mouth, cleaning your lungs from any weight that’s wearing you down and whisper just about: ’Surrender’.
And see the magic by truly trusting the process.
