I’m a huge fan of Greg McKeown – an eminent author, public speaker, leadership and business strategist. In one of his posts he talks about taking a strategic pause before going for a sensible push (forward). I draw parallels from this beautiful quote: think about the multiple things we juggle when we are at work. So much to do and so little time.
However, imagine this: what if the time that you have is infinite? What if you change your mindset enmeshing with abundance of time and doing things that grace you with more time and space?
Yes, it’s possible. When you do more of what matters., you create space for meaning over minutiae – and delegate the rest that can be taken care of – a little later?
We all have phases in life – but stepping into marriage and parenting is the most beautifully tasked phase. So let’s uplift each other when we are challenged enormously in our life’s phases.
One sensible thing to do?
It is to do one sensible thing fully and simply at a point in time.
You don’t have to be mastering everything that greets your attention. Focus on one thing at a time. The rest can wait based on the gravitas of importance and value that the ‘thing’ merits and warrants.
As right said, ‘How you do anything is how you do everything’.
When you learn the art of doing something well, it reflects in the overall body of your work.
This approach uplevels your productivity and gives you more quality time to do things gracefully with you full commitment.
The best past?
You become the shining armour of your work! As people notice your zing and expertise in what you do.
Give time its own due and see the magic happen!
