Altruism

One good, noble intention can save massively catastrophic issues to occur in our lives.

When you sincerely wish well and do good for others – without any expectation – you are rewarded in unexpected ways.

I read about Altruism in The Laws of Connection by the prolific David Robson.

Altruism by its very essence means to care and have compassion for others. When you practice altruism, you feel more calm, stable, composed and socially connected even when you don’t belong to those communities or ecosystem or society in which you live.

Being more human and planting seeds of noble intentions so that you can contribute towards the greater good keeps your health surprisingly good!

Whether it is helping the underserved and financially deprived people, or upholding your care for subjects like ageism and differently-abled – you connect the deepest in pain and servitude.

Now just imagine the power of shared altruistic values – the ones that bind the whole world to be better, kinder, and nobler?

I think the starting point to synthesise these altruistic exchanges in our world is to meditate.

Not the meditation definitions you have heard of: of clearing your thoughts and trying to find that zen mode.

It’s actually effortless at Ziva Meditation – where you welcome the thoughts as not the enemy but as a beautiful catharsis to connect with the source. In the last bit of our meditation practice, we suavely enter the manifestation part – and its simplest connotation is to ask ourselves: What would I love to do now??

From this place of soulful contribution you receive the divine distillations to use yourself like a vessel for creating a change in the world. And this, just this, is altruism in action!

My prayers and love to all!
