We seek truth. We seek the real thing, the real feeling, the real affirmation.
Which is why our personal brands need a real, groundbreaking purpose so we work more consistently and comply with our seeking system, and not confabulate.
I came across confabulate in a reverent book called ‘Dare To Lead’ by Brene Brown.
The word confabulation means an honest lie – something which is not in concurrence with our soul’s truth. An honest lie that gradually becomes our habit just to assuage our nervous system that something opposite might expectedly arise in a positive way.
But the real truth becomes our soul’s coherent compass – something which guides us to our true north.
So where does confabulation fit in? In the negativity we store in us inadvertently.
My request to you: let go of your inhibitive confabulations and express your real truth – may be marred with pain and vulnerabilities, but that’s you, the real kind of personal brand.
Be fearlessly and truthfully honest, not the lie one.
I love you.
